General Admission Requirements

When you are ready to assemble your admission materials, visit the Preparing Your Packet page.

  • B.S. degree in a computing-related engineering degree1.
  • Cumulative B.S. GPA of 3.0 or higher2.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)3.
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation4.
  • Statement of purpose (SOP).
  • English proficiency test (TOEFL or IELTS), if applicable. More information here.
  • GRE not required.

Admission Deadlines

The Admissions Committee reviews packets on a rolling basis for packets including all required materials (must include all items listed under “General Admission Requirements”). Your application packet will be marked incomplete until all items have been submitted.

  • Fall
    • Applications for the Fall 2027 term are now open.
    • For international applicants: the deadline for applying for Fall 2027 is January 31st, 2027.
    • For domestic applicants: the deadline for applying for Fall 2027 is April 1st, 2027.
    • The admissions committee reviews applications on a rolling basis with generally five reviewing batches: one in December, one in January, February, March, and April. The sooner you apply, the sooner you will hear back from us!
    • Stay ahead of the competition, apply early!
  • Spring & Summer
    • At this time, applications for Spring or Summer terms are not considered.
